The State Bank of India has released a total of 8773 vacancies of Clerk (Junior Associates) for the year 2023-24 in different states of India. This exam is comprised of two stages. The preliminary exam was conducted on the 5th, 6th, 11th, and 12th of January, 2024.
Candidates are awaiting the prelims result and the mains exam is tentatively scheduled for February 2024. Applicants who qualify for the Preliminary exam will appear for Mains Exam.
Here are some tips & strategies to qualify for the SBI Mains Exam
Understand the Exam Pattern and Syllabus
To clear the exam you need to understand the syllabus and exam pattern thoroughly. You can check the previous year’s question papers to understand the difficulty levels of the exam. Focus on each section General/Financial Awareness, General English, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, and Computer Awareness.
Practice Mock test
To tackle the pressure of the main exam, start to take a mock test daily and try to find out where are you lacking. Learn from your mistakes and improve your performance/ It will help you to learn time management which will help you in the examination hall.
Strengthen Weak Areas
If you are weak in any particular section. Don’t panic, try to give some more time to practice. take help from online resources, study materials, or coaching classes to clarify your doubts.
Stay up-to-date with Current Affairs
Try to jot down all the important current affairs, especially those related to banking, finance, sports, etc. Stay updated with day-to-day important news, and follow some online resources and newspapers.
Improve Your Accuracy
As there is a negative marking in this exam. Try to take a wild guess while answering any question. That may give you a penalty. If you are sure, only tick them.
Revision is the Key
As we all know, revision is the key. So try to give yourself some time to revise current affairs and another subject which may give you trouble at the examination hall. Try to make a precise note which can help you the time of quick revision before the exam.
